Switching halfway through the year
You do not have to wait for the new financial year. You start with the financial year that is already running and enter its opening balance: the bank and cash balances and the invoices that were still open on that day. Then you import the bank statements of the months that have passed. ClubBalans links the payments to the open invoices, and you book the rest on categories. That way the whole year is in ClubBalans, ready for the audit committee.
All your members at once
Most clubs keep their members in a spreadsheet or can export them from their current package. You upload that file as Excel (xlsx) or CSV. ClubBalans recognizes most columns itself; you match the rest by hand. Afterwards you see exactly which rows were read in and which were skipped. Read more about member administration.
No knowledge of bookkeeping needed
You book income and expenses on clear categories, such as membership fees or canteen purchases. ClubBalans adds the counter-entry on the bank, the cash register or an open invoice itself, so everything always balances. Read how it works under bookkeeping.
